There was actually a Wii on a shelf in plain sight u could've walked up and bought it. Why am I acting like this? Becasue I've NEVER seen one. ALWAYS sold out. I WOULD have it right now and playing Tiger woods PGA '08, But I have other expenses that have to be taken care of. :(

Funny you mention it, I soldered a mod chip in one today. Damn they are a PITA to get appart and the circuit boards are small

I've had one in stock in my store for 2 weeks, no one asked for it, so I transfered it to another store 200 miles away! Oh well. ......Every day for the last 3 months someone asks if I have one instock, then I get one and it sits on the shelf for 2 weeks......go figure!

People are making such a BIG deal about how hard it is to find one, and paying outrageous amounts on eBay just to get their hands on one. Not that I don't want one (Believe me, I DO!), but not long ago, my dad was in GameStop near here... there were 6 sitting right there on the shelf

Wow.... since when are they scarce? I live in the Metro Cleveland area (2.5 million people), and they are everywhere here. Walmarts, Kmarts, Best buy, Circuit city, etc etc. I can find them at any store that sells them.

Buy them! Then sell them on E-bay in December when Nintendo pulls the plug on shipping again just to make them sell out (huge marketing ploy).

Funny, when I was standing in line waiting for Toys R US to open to get mine, the lady behind me was from Cleveland, and said she couldn't find one. She was getting it as a late fathers day gift for her husband.

Wow, I haven't checked Ebay in a while for them. Are they really still selling like that? 'Cause I see acouple a week in stores around here. Hmmm , maybe I will snag a couple cause you're right, they will still be a hot item for christmas won't they.

Here in Muscatine, I haven't been able to find a single one for sale in our walmart.... ever.... My momma picked one up sometime in january, then handed it over to me a few months later. I looooooove my wii!
