Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

I didn't know Google could do this...

I thought I heard that Dodge did independent tests (yes, I know I know...how independent can they be!) and they outdid Ford + Chevy. Nissan has 305HP eh? That is cool. However some of their trucks are just STRANGE looking (whats that new Pathfinder thing? yikes)

Arent you talking about that new Dodge Uber something? So post to compete with the Ford Lightning? Independent researching is a joke! Only trust what I read or see from 3rd party observers.

My point with the 5.7 was tken wrong (buit we did learn a lot about the Hemi, huh?). What I meant was any 5.7 liter is just a 350. That used to be standard, for cars and trucks, and not too impressive. Being "old". I guess I found it funny. I learned to drive in a Caprice with a 350 in it....

Granted, with the new engine tech, you're getting a lot more power than the 350'* I used to work on, but it'* still just a 350!!.....

never mind.... Old guy reminiscing.....

Ya, you got a point. The old 350s still own though. They last forever.

5.3 is a whole lot better then the 5.7... you may loose .4 litres but you gain a world of more usable power.

If anyone wants to trade their Chev 5700 for my 5300, I'll do it in a heartbeat. Yes, the 5300 has that nice even torque range, but I really miss being able to burn off my rear tires while leaving two solid black marks from one block to the next. It'* not about how fast you can pass; it'* about how fast you can get there.
