Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

I can't believe GM have done this.

Default I can't believe GM have done this.

It seems Chevrolet have made a half billion dollar sponsorship deal with British soccer club Manchester United. For their money the players will wear the logo on their shirts until 2021.
Chevrolets sold over here are what used to be Korean Daewoos, they sell moderately well but don't have a huge market share.

Soccer is our top spectator sport, as in most of Europe and South America, I wonder how many Chevrowoos they will have to sell to make their deal pay off?.

It seems the executive from GM who signed the deal no longer works there, apparently he did not meet GMs expectations with his work performance.

Roger.

look at what they pay for one commercial in our superbowl, and they usually have several. not to mention every other game and sport and racing im sure its way more. thats half the reason the new cars are beyond ridiculous money.
