I've considered most of these options, especially a CDL. Forklift operator might be fun as well. But can I do these jobs and go to school at the same time? I just enrolled in Columbus State, so I'm thinking about maybe just going part time, but we'll see

Most of these jobs would be full time, making also attending school difficult.
Attending school part time and working full-time may not be too bad. Of course you would have to consider that it would take longer to complete your schooling.

if you don't have debit over your head (car payment, super high insurence, credit cards...) you might want to consider going to school full time and working a part time 2 or 3 day a week job... you'll get out of school faster and can get on with life.

I agree with Darrell, that is probably the way to go if you can afford it. I guess it depends if you want more money now and can wait a bit longer to "start your future" or if you want to just get by for now and "start your future" sooner.

I chose the try to work as much as possible and do school part time and it sucks... now i'm stuck in the endless cycle of having to work more so i can make more money to pay for my appartment, pay off debt, i'm saving for a wedding... its just hard on you after a few years. if i could do it over i'd just go straight to school and worry about work and Money later on. I've got my whole life for that.

Dude's got a good idea, any trailer parks around you? they can be a virtual gold mine for extra cash. Plenty of lawns and potential customers that are close to each other. Easy way to make a couple hundred bucks. Just practice a sales pitch, print up a few cards with your name and number on them and go knock on a few doors.

Debit wise, I do have a car payment, cell phone, insurance and a 500 dollar credit card payment to pay off... My parents might be able to cover a bit of that, but idk how much....

Here is my advice to you....

With you going back to school, I think the detailing idea is a great start. You figure you made $5-6 an hour working 60 hours a week. That roughly $360 dollars a week before taxes working at the stealership.

If you detail cars and charge $95.00 per car and can do 5 cars a week that's $475 dollars a week you would have. That's more than your old job, and Uncle Sam don't need to know shit! And frankly $95.00 per car is cheap for outside, inside, and engine detail.

I would definetly look into it if I were you. Lets say supplies cost you $75 a week. That's still $400 a week in your pocket. Plus, alot of people tip!

Going to school and working is hard to do. Working part time doesn't make you alot of money, but if you go the detailing route, you'll be making as much money as me in a month lol. That's not bad my friend.

I agree with the detailing, an excellent place to start.

However, keeping the IRS in the dark is up to you, just remember IF you do claim your income your supplies, mileage, cell phone, and interest on your car loan can be wright offs. Plus side of not claiming income is no need to pay taxes, down side of not claiming your income is you have no record of income wich will hurt you in applying for credit. Something to think about if you plan on doing it for a while.

i was working at target, and everyone said i was doing my job great, i had awards and everythig, and then out of no were they fired me, well after getting evicted, and living on a couch ina a carp ass tariler, i bounce back and now i work at US Cellular as a a sales rep raking in 1500-2000+ a month
