Detailing cars, if you're as anal about detailing as I am, that is a great thing to do. I started my own detailing business and did it for 3 years.

EDIT, oh crap nevermind you hate hot weather. Well at least for the fall, it would be a good gig and it wouldn't be so hot.

I'll be starting up my detailing business again soon and into the fall before winter hits.

Of course, benefits are good too so a job on the books is a good idea. But you should be on your parents still correct?

Take advantage of your hard time, I was making $6 an hour when I was 10 years old, Theres a reason for everything good and bad that happens in life, Put your head up and find another job or go get a college education, You have nothing to lose you have a roof over your head and nobody to support but yourself, Best of the luck, theres always going to be something better around the corner just wait!

If you like your car alot, why not learn how to detail cars? Set up some flyers and off you go, good old fashion income

This is something that I was told years ago and I believe still holds very true

Do you know what the difference is between a sucessfull person and an unsucessfull person is:?

A sucessfull person is willing to do what an unsucessfull person isn't.

One of my very good friend once ruled the detail market in Granville, but I think since he moved out I should try again.

I made darn good money (though I didn't charge enough) all by word of mouth every summer. It was all in addition to my regular summer job. It'* worth a shot, you don't have to pay taxes, and it'* fun...

...until you start getting the most disgusting, dirtiest cars you've ever seen.

Well, i just went through almost the same thing. But i came to work and was told i was laid off, no real reason or anything. It scared the hell out of me. Then i put my name in other places and everything and it wasnt looking good, on friday they called back and told me they needed me back and today asked me how much overtime i could do this week and i said all you can give me. So i have to say, it will come around, something will get you through it.

As for the kidney, what blood type are you, drinker? over weight? smoker? you work out regularly?? How much you got to get?? Hey..... you never know if you are going to need one, might as well buy it and keep it if i need it

PS- listen to pete he makes sense. Detailing cars is a good way to make some money, and word of mouth is the best advertisment.

I have only seen pics of his cars (well got a little peak at his old car), and i would drive the 5 hours to have him detail my cars LMAO

And I got returning customers for 3 years +. I got $20 tips frequently. Hey, it'* what you know, it'* not risky at all, and you don't have to worry about resumes and interviews, etc.

Would your parents mind you doing peoples' cars at their house? I did my work in my parents' driveway so it was very convenient.

Thanks TJ...anytime, come on over. lol
