This last sat. I went out bought I new laptop. A gateway has ati 200m cpu,bluetooth wireless g, 120 gig hd,dvd burner, 1 gig ram, turion ml-34 cpu. I like that laptop battery life on it. IT is powerful enough to play most computer games. Every around here has open networks

They need to hold a free class for people who wuy the wireless routers on how to lock them down. Not to rain on your parade, but it'* a huge security violation!

true, but if they arent smart enough to lock down the router, then their sharing on their computer is most likely not setup....and if they are buying stuff online, that connection is already encrypted...so i mean, for the normal user its not that big of a difference, unless you mean a security violation in some other manner...

Yeah, and those of us who can't afford internet at home really don't like locked networks...
