Note: My buddy found a GREAT deal on a 1999 Concorde with the 3.x engine. If anyone knows of a good site to find out if there is anything to watch for when buying a Concorde, please let me know ASAP!!!... Thanx

Go to any car review sites like edmunds.com and look it up. Things from my experience to look out for are: transmissions ( find one w/rebiult trans that still has warrenty or one w/less than 65,000 miles), interior parts falling apart, rust, and 2.7L engine. The 2.7L engines last an average of 80,000 miles due to sludge build up. To put it bluntly most FWD Chryslers are nothing but trouble. BTW- if you're friend likes speed Concords are not the answer. Even the multivalve 3.5 only goes from 0-60mph in about 9 sec flat.

OMFG what the heck is going on with these cars?

I haven't ever seen anything quite as ugly as the one with the scoop.
