i had the same thing happen to me in California.

i had been eyeing a 1969 hardtop Firebird for about a month, the day i go to buy it some schmuck beat me there by about 30 minutes!

I WAS PO'D. i feel your pain!

Im not going to be home by 7-8 pm. Its an 8-hour drive one direction!
You're kidding right? It took me 5 hours to get to Chicago taking the scenic route. 55-65 mph the whole way. You obviously don't travel much.

I punched it up in Google maps, then I went to Windows Live Local and it gave me 7 hours. Granted they are never accurate but damn, 400+ miles? If this was my money hell yes, but when you got someone else writing the check its a whole 'nother story.

I still have some things to work out and im going to get my dad to help me, but damnit im going to get an SSEi before spring break is over!

Yep.........

The best thing to do is drop it all and go get it. I looked at mine on a Sunday afternoon and went after work Monday to talk about it. Drove it home on Tuesday
