My gf and I saw this last night. I was expecting a tom hanks "cast away" type movie but there is a lot more plot than i expected from the previews.

Also, during the opening scene with the mustang, there is some LOUD supercharger whine, it made me happy.

That was the Ford power steering pump whine (I don't know, haven't seen the movie, but it fits!)

just saw it today, and yes the previews are misleading. but i personally still liked the movie.
except for the ending, that sucked. for such a well written movie, the end was just stupid.
but still worth seeing.

especially since this was one of the first movies i've seen in digital w/ surround sound.
the theater just switched over to digital projecters, and just added surround. It was sweeeet.

saw it yesterday also, I thought it was a good distraction from reality. It was alot better than the total waste of time and money going to No Country for Old Men was.

the first hour was pretty good. loved it.

then they didnt explore a lot of issues they could have. they just let the entire plot of the movie lie off the to side forgotten while it builds to a senseless climax.

great acting by will smith, its just a shame that he was in it. it was a waste of his time.

I really liked it. I'd like to see it again. And yes, the Mustang sounds GOOD in the beginning...excellent item to use to break the silence.
