Do not question my powers! It hasn’t rained in the Salt Lake Valley since, like, 1959 it seems like. It’* been a couple months, at least. So I spend 3 ˝ hours cleaning my Silverado last evening – cleaned it inside & out, conditioned the leather, etc. - no worries, no rain expected, just continued triple digit heat and more sunshine. At 9 PM I rolled it into the garage, all sparkly. Here I am at work, the truck has seen daylight for roughly an hour and guess what – it’* sprinkling. Not really raining, just enough of a sprinkle to put 1/8” drops about 1” apart all over the cars.

And it’* not a clean rain. Thanks to the wildfires in Utah, there’* plenty of smoke in the air and the rain is collecting it. I expect the wind to start blowing any minute in an effort to kick up a butt-load of dust to deposit on my once clean truck. It'* actually dirtier NOW than it was before I washed it. That really chaps my arse.

Well, it spent the night nice & clean, anyway.

At least the inside will still be clean. I find that the hardest part of a vehicle to clean.
