hey. ive been getting messages about whether im ok or not. just wanted to inform the forum i am alive. going through a really bad breakup after a year the past 2 weeks or so. its finally final. right now cars are at the very bottom of my list. i will be back. just give me time.

I find that putting cars at the top of the list helps in these sort of situations.

I'll second that.
After my last breakup, sitting around thinking about it was the worst thing I could do. And going out drinking didn't do much except take away thoughts for awhile.
Doing something productive helped a lot for me. It was either playing my drums, or taking care of my cars. In my mind, I was putting effort and time into something that would (in a way) at least appreciate it.

It doesn't work for everyone, but keeping busy doing something you like to do seems to be a better alternative than letting it consume your thoughts.

Either way, like others have said, we will still be here if you want to vent, or you need help with anything. Good luck.

ive ben trying to keep busy as best i can. took a few hrs and detailed my car today. on the inside atleast. its gonna rain for the next week or so im not gonna bother with the wax yet. but i shampooed the carpets cleaned the mats and conditioned the leather. and i just got a set of torx sockets from my dad so i can fix the damn seat controls that are busted off.

i also got my dads car runnin today after about 3-4 months so we can use it as a wind breaker so all the crap in the yard doesn't blow away tonight.

That'* a nice looking car. Why has it been sitting for so long? That storms just getting ready to roll through where I'm staying tonight.

he'* on sick leave because of a messed up shoulder, had to have surgery. and with the pills he cant drive and noone is allowed to touch his car lol.
