Default Hurray for bike accidents!!

I wrecked my dirt bike the other day...Thank God I wasn't hurt any more than I am, but I do have a nasty bruse on my leg. Here are some pics...

I hit a rock and the bike hi-sided, the ring near the center of the bruse was my shifter peg. I landed so hard I bent the peg into the engine case with my leg!!!

Um, ouch. I've wrecked a 4wheeler before, but never messed up the ATV. If I wreck, I make sure not to break the 4wheeler.

Is it wrong that I get excited to see a thread have this subject headline?

Have to say I'm glad you're ok, though I was expecting something more impressive.

The bike is fine now, it just scratched the plastic up and bent the shift lever, which I've bent back already. Those Hondas realy can take a beating and get back up running fine. However, if it wern't for the big plastic boots I wear, my other leg would be broken at the ankle.

Ouch!! My first husband raced a Cagiva motocross bike and had plenty of bruises in his career. To this day I miss the smell of the fuel/oil mix and going to the races in Buchanan, MI. It was such a fun time! Glad you are okay and not hurt too badly.
