Hows Everybodys October?
Pretty rough month for me as well.
But as another vet told me in church ast Sunday "After being in Vietnam there are no major problems here at home". And you know he is correct.
Hang in ther forumites, if you are alive there are no problems.

this month has been okay. im up for a promotion which i dont meet the basic qualification [that is, open availability], but theyre considering me for it anyway based on my longevity with the company and my ability. nancy and i are getting along quite well now, and im keeping up with my classes.
the month isnt over yet, but well see what happens. im optimistic.

School sucks, I think I might be failing two courses, and I don't even know what I want to do.
Family life is iffy, idk if you want me to go into that
Hey, at least I've got my health, my car, and my gadgets!!

It has been a good month. I'm in love with Arizona weather after the middle of September! My wife and I are settling in to our new apartment, and the car seems to be running strong. I have had an extensive delay in being able to schedule an FAA examiner for my instrument checkride, but it'* finally coming up this Sunday after 3+ weeks of little to no flying. Can't complain about much at the moment.

Fine here. Just brought a "new" pop up. Had a job interview but no calls (bastards probably denied me because I'm deaf) Looks like I'll have to get a job as a grocery bagger. Damn...
UIM/LIM will be replaced next Saturday.
College is going fine. History is hell, there'* so many names that I can't even spell or remember...

Life is heck, but Zero 7 makes it that much better. Stressed out? Loop the song In The Waiting Line, by Zero 7. It'll make you all better, guarenteed.

Well, I can't get a good, solid week, for all the things going wrong on my truck or at home, so my checks have been small, and last week my truck developed a transmission malfunction caused by a bad brake valve(complicated, don't ask), so I had a loaner truck until today that stank of old cigarettes, which gave me a massive headache (and I have to SLEEP in that).
Then I get my backhaul, which is a concrete color-mixer, and it takes me four hours to get it loaded and secured, even with two guys helping(only one of which spoke English, and just barely enough to translate for the other guy), because we had to tape cardboard and foam around all the sharp corners, which wore straight through the aforementioned cardboard and put big wholes through my tarp
not that I have to pay for them, but getting them repaired is a pain in the a$$. And to top it off, they don't even tell me that the hoppers are still full of powdwered color, so my trailer looked like a damn parade float, and it'* all over my tarp. Hopefully the crap will at least wash out of my clothes...
But, all my family is safe and sound, I'm not in major financial trouble, and my Brother finally got his windshield fixed(and his tire promptly went flat
). One of my work buddies got hurt, but he'* back at work, doing van for awhile before he comes back to flat-bed, so I'm guessing it wasn't anything major.
Yeah, October sucks.

I think I have only driven the Bonnie like 10 times this month, and 4 of those are to the garage and back for repairs. $100 bucks and 4 days into new fuel lines and still not fixed
