How upset should I be?
My wife got a call from our daughters school. It would seem they made a error and didn't read the instructions on her medication. They were giving her double the dose for the last month and a half. And these are the people teaching our kids.

Itz Doctor/Lawyer time Dan. Twice the dose? Thats gross negligence. Young child, liver complications?, Mental distress? They have a history of negligence with your children in many ways. I would seek a Lawyer, and use his recommendation for a Doctor checkup? Organizations like this don't learn until you hit them in their pocket and actually cause people above to hold them to some kind of integrity and accountability.

Lexapro
If you have a kidney or liver disorder, or have had seizures, your physician may limit your dosage. Caution is advised. Lexapro is not recommended for children.
Children and people with liver or kidney condition may need a lower dose (less than 10mg).
Overdose symptoms of Lexapro overdose include seizures, nausea, agitation, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, vomiting, coma, fainting, mania, and high or low blood pressure.
In case of a Lexapro overdose, seek medical attention.
Even though a common drug these days, it a dangerous controlled substance Dan. I'd see a Medical Lawyer. You got nothing to lose but a little time.

P.*. I just remembered that I felt bad for kind of ignoring your daughter when she was asking me questions, we were trying to quickly look up those codes and I think my brain was pretty well frozen at that point. If she still cares, I do have pets, 4 english bulldogs that love to slobber and chew on everything. Hopefully the schools negligence didn't do her any damage.

Schools are ill equipped to handle these things. I rember when my oldest fell at school they gave her a bar of soap & told her to clean it herself.School nurse seems to be the first to guy during a budget defecit. We complained all the way to the school board. What a waste of time.

Trust me, I know what it'* like. Our son has autism, and the school didn't even try. We finally had to bring in the state arbitrator, and she laid down the law. No more problems with that school. But our daughter goes to a different school. Earlier in the year they forgot to give her her meds a few times. Ya, forgot. I think it'* about time to bring down the fear of god.
