Found this crashed Ranger on Ebay. Auction ends in 40 minutes. Doesn't look to bad- but I haven't done body work except bondo stuff 25 years ago in high school. Any thoughts would be appreciated:

Ended up not buying it, it was tough not to pull the trigger.

Did research on the seller, and he bought a lot of auto body parts from Ebay. I drew the conclusion he bought the Ranger to rebuild, but found more damage than expected and that was the reason he was selling it unfixed. No way to know it for sure. Wish I would of found the listing a few days earlier, I would have taken a run to his location for an inspection.

I have bought two vehicles via Ebay. Both from San Antonio TX. The first was a 2000 Wrangler with 100k miles. It was a steel- super clean and zero rust. The 2nd vehicle I bought was a 2006 F-250. Ended up being a Katrina flood vehicle but seller was able to hide this by doing things like putting in a brand new floor cover. CarFax didn't show it was a flood vehicle as the vehicle was owned by a company and was self insured, they simply sold the vehicle at auction and this buying used car dealer had a small crew of undocumented workers detailing these crap vehicles. This dealer had 20 positives ratings/ 100%. After he finished his scam, he had over a dozen negative ratings in one month. I am sure he just opened a new E-bay account and is doing it again. He was a very good con man- new exactly what people look at in pictures and what they don't= he knew every angle to show many pictures but to ensure the flood damage wasn't visible. When I went under the dash and founds it caked in mud- I knew I had made a big Jamaica mistaka.
