What you might be able to do is, if you're lucky and not urgently needing parts, is to go junkyard hunting and literally hide parts in a nook or cranny in a car. In a pick-your-part yard, hopefully the car will remain there in a week or a few days, when you might have money thanks to payday or whatnot.

Go fishing, that'* what I do when I'm broke and looking for something to do. Also, look into building a potato cannon, depending on your resources, you can make one pretty cheap.

I built a trebuchet for physics class this year. Using scrap wood at The Home Depot and some stuff just lying around at a friend'* house, we spent about $22 CAD on it, including spray paint for decoration




Stuff that launches projectiles is a good idea. It can be cheap, safe if you know what you're doing, and hella fun

you could also find a remote corner of the junkyard with no fence, use google maps to find out the closest road near by, and take the parts you need on a "hike" to see the road. Just make sure that none of them "accidentally" get left behind. This is not condoned, but I know a couple friends with limited budgets who do this...

I like the hide my parts bit. That is pretty cleaver. Not stealing, and it wont put a potato size hole in anyones head.....

you could actually start hitting the books for the upcoming year so you don't have to spend the summer in school next year!

Its summer school for Nursing classes. Not like high school. Ill get through in two years. Summer school is part of the plan man.
