I had to go with "pfffft". I use synthetic, I have an oil pressure gauge and oil monitor. I look at the oil when I change it. Don't know if it makes a difference but Castrol Syntec darkend more than Mobil One or Quaker State after the approx 10k intervals so I stay away from it just because. Used Valvoline this last time because it'* was Wally'* best price and wondering how it will fare. The two times I used Mobil One it was amazing as to the transparency left in the used oil.

i check mine once a week not for level but just cause i never have to top anything off in bubba my buick or my black truck actually none of my vehicles lol
