I do the same thing. People must love being behind me at the stop light because I pull off so quick to reach speed.

First question: Is it just my personal car or all the customer cars I drive count?
I'd say at least 10-15 times a day depending on traffic.

I can understand why that was misunderstood. I work in a BMW repair/ performance shop and we install lots of performance parts and Reprogramed PCMs. Its part of my job, I have my bosses and the customers permission.

Oh, yea, I forgot about the work truck lol.
It puts me at about 4 times a day alone, haha.
Stupid POS Ranger...
Now this... this is the one I mash almost everytime I drive it, lol.
(dont worry, I upgraded to full 2.5" pipes this summer lol)

In the GTI I go to the floor much more than I did in the Bonne. When cruising in the Bonnie I would try to keep downshifting to a minimum, for a 4 speed with tons of torque, it sure shifted early in the pedal range, with a perfect TPS range no less...
But in the GTI, In manual mode i'll just keep it in the higher/cruising gear I'm in, and give it more accelerator instead of downshifting. @ my cruising speed on I-35 on the way to work, i'm just in the boost a little. But there are plenty of moments I need to merge, and downshifting + flooring it helps..
It'* also hard to get out of the gas when accelerating because of the turbo'* noise, and power delivery, it'* just relentless acceleration everywhere above about ~1800RPM.
