How Many Miles to work or school?
Wow. Some of you guys have long rides, and short ones too!! I love to drive and usually am the first to offer to take "my car" but when I HAVE to do it and its not a choice (like going to work in gridlock) I just hate it and find that I become more aggressive behind the wheel
.4 miles to work, .2 miles to school. There is a stop sign, which involves merging onto a major road, and two stoplights between my house and work, so sometimes it takes me like 3 minutes to get there even though its so close. (its quicker to ride my bike most times, and I'm not talking about a motorcycle) School takes about 2 minutes due to the same stop sign except having to turn left at it instead of right, taking twice as long usually, and there is a stoplight as well.
Home however (where my parents live), is a different story, about 190 miles.

7 miles to school. Can take 15 to 20 mins depending on traffic and lights. I found if I leave a few minutes after 7 a.m. I can get there earlier
than if I leave at 7 due to the timing of the lights.
Right now I have about a 40 mile drive, Franklin-Manchester(for those familiar with NH) in the morning (4:00am) takes about 30 minutes. Ride home can take about 50 minutes. A friday in the summer on a holiday or race weekend (New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon is 15 min from me) , 1 1/2 to 2hrs if I'm heaading home after 4:00pm

15 miles there, 15 miles back. THEN, on Wednesday, it makes its usual 30 mile trip, but has to make a 60 mile trip to Athens GA, then 60 miles back. She racks up the miles, quicker than I thought, especially seeing as she usually ends up having to go to town again, so it'* like 60 miles a day.
2.5 kms, about 5 mins, 1 road to work. Its pretty nice. But in the morning it can take some time as there are 3 schools (1 elementary, 1 private, 1 high school) along my route and clogs up the left lane
