Hmmm... all I can say these is do the math at the next fill... If its the same or close to the same... Just say screw it and put the hammer down 
I have had a hard time keeping my foot out of it too....

I've been trying the same thing on my NA 95...keeping rpm'* to a bare minimum and not doing any "hot-rodding"...so far it doesn't look much different...been about 135 miles and it'* at about 7/8th'*...
