im on a 5mb cable connection running a fairly fast computer

however my emoticon page takes exactly 10 seconds to download...

how fast for everyone else?

8 seconds, on a 1.2 GHz Celeron with 384MB ram, 40GB HDD, running XP home, on a RoadRunner connection.

I started 25 minutes ago, but had to reboot twice. Windows on dial up with spyware sucks.

According to the timer I have at the bottom of firefox (fasterfox plugin), it was done in 9.193 seconds

About 4-6 seconds on my laptop, 8-9 seconds if your in the north corner of the house
