Well, after installing windows for the third time this week (the HDD i wanted to replace had to be replaced because it took a major dump yet again)

So, I get it installed. get my Razr Internet connection figured out again, and am now redownloading AV updates.

Good Lord, dial-up is freakin' slow!!! How do you dial-up folks deal with this crap??

We used to have dial up, and I thought it was fast b/c I'd never used DSL before. Now we have low-speed DSL, and I thought it was super fast until I got on my aunt'* computer with high-speed DSL. Now my internet seems slow.

Before, I use to take my computer over to my mother in laws house and hook it up to her broadband. Updates were done in like 10 minutes.

You realize any Razr internet service is almost slower then dial up (IIRC).
