Default How did you hear about BC and why did you join?

Reading Erics post, I decided to start this topic. How did you hear about BC and why did you join?

Me? I heard about it through the person I bought my 94 from, and I signed up because I wanted to know more about my car and what known issues they have.

I have learned allot so far and im still learning. I look forward to being a longtime member for years to come!!

If my Bonne shall die, I at least know I can browse the for sale section and pick up another one

I was just looking for info on the Bonneville on the internet, and kinda just stumbled in the door. I am a member of another auto forum (F150online) so I figured there had to be a Bonneville Club online.

I visit this forum more often than even my camping forums!

Thanks,
John

i came across this site looking for "common problems" with bonnevilles on yahoo. my gfs mom thought id made a huge mistake buying a 96 SE at the auction, and was concerned that i had no idea what i was getting into. i figured, 2750 for a 96 in pristine condition. . .

signed up automatically and bookmarked it, but didnt need it until i wanted to touch up the paint id screwed up taking the dealer name off.

I joined because I was trading my Fiero for the SSEi and wanted to find a site for help, and markviiisvt4 pointed me to this site when I went to pick up the Bonneville from him.

I was doing a search for symptoms related to stalling while driving with the 94 SE the day before I purchased it. I knew the car had the problem and I wanted to know what it was going to cost to have the mechanic fix it.

I wish I knew then what I know now because it was a $38 TPS sensor that I was charged $250 to replace. Ah well.
