So last night I was changing my and my dad'* oil with my gf. She wanted to learn so last night she got to do 2 oil changes. Anywho....
Between the two of us the catch bucket on the tahoe was too close to the drain plug, the initial spout landed about 2 feet from the plug hole. Anywho, I figure we spilled about 1.5-2 quarts onto the driveway. Dad isn't very happy about the large stain (ok so that is an understatement, he is pretty pissed)
any ideas on how to get it out.
The driveway was put in 2.5-3 years ago and it is cement.
I've tried, dish soap, laundry detergent, and degreaser. I need more ideas.

Try using a can of coke..the soda. Let it soak on the driveway and scrub it in. Then powerwash it out. I used it on some oil in my driveway and it worked ok. Concrete cleaner is the ultimate option
yeah u can go to lowes, home depot or something and get the stuff in nice big buckets...spread it on and scrub, or powerwash off...should work wonders...
but while we are on the subject...i have a GIANT trans fluid stain in my garage and it slopes in...so water is ruled out...does anyone know of anything dry and that i can sweep out?
i applied oil dri as soon as it spilled, but no go..please help!

I got the ultimate solution, it adds charm to the home.
A rug.
It covers up the stain beautifully and you'll never know it was there.
And Rob, you found a gf???? How about pics!!!!!!

Couple ideas...
Brake cleaner. Seriously. The alcohol content in it will cut right through it. Have a couple cans and a lot of rags.
Or, you can use some cleaner called Super Stuff. WalMart sells it. It comes in a one gallon jug, turqouise in color. It works wonders. Buy a scrub brush and just work the stain.
Brake cleaner will give you the best results. I've spilled lots of oil, but you'd never know it.
It'* all in the clean up process.

My uncle works for a company that has some good stuff called Pour N' Restore. Not sure where you might find it since it'* a fairly new product. It'* great though. It goes on like a thick liquid, then it absorbs the oil as it dries, and you just sweep it up. I always laugh at the name they gave it.
