LOL, and I think I had them all. My mom ruined the mystique by putting some shrimp eggs (sold as spice) in some water and showed me they hatched. The mystery was taken out of it.

BTW Lincoln Logs RULE!!!. I could never get enough sets. I use to trade friends for incomplete sets and make log cabin communities. Pioneer condo'*...... LOL.

I think we have severly dated ourselves Kevin.

I think I've had most of those. My son has Lincoln Logs and enjoys playing with them.

I used to try to nurture the little shrimp embryo'* and always failed. I had toddler dreams of raising them up to be a big platter of battered fried shrimp.

Bahahahahaha!!! I have a grandson who comes down and I showed him how to catch crayfish out of my creek. He has a similar dream of picking a large rock up gigerly and finding one of them 6 pounders himself.

I love mud bugs! I used to catch them when I was younger and got pretty efficient at it. They make for some mighty tasty appetizers with adult beverages when done in a creole/cajun boil - YUM!
