Four Lakewood Police Officers were ambushed and murdered in a coffee shop in Lakewood this morning. The officers were just starting their shift and were going over paperwork and reading reports when gunmen burst in and open fire - deliberately targeting the officers. Three of the officers were male and one was female.

Being a retired officer, this has totally left me with little words and lots of wondering on what the hell is going on in the world. This is an unconscionable act and one that'* brutality can never be given the right extent of justice to those who are responsible.

My thought and prayers go to the families of the slain officers, the Lakewood Police Department and those Pierce Country departments that have to deal with the investigation in the death of their colleagues.

A tragic day in humanity......

That'* quite a sobering incident and shows the inherent danger to Police Officers. How do you stay social and friendly to people you are paid to Serve when these incidents keep happening. Less than a month ago, it was one in Seattle. 10 x'* harder to stomach being each was just a random execution style event with no motive other than to defy authority. I remember the Show "Cops" did a lot of episodes in Piece County, WA. They portrayed a grisly picture of what I thought was a quiet peaceful place tucked away in the Northwest.

Hopefully a bullet, a dose of lethal injection,,,, or alot of voltage

ya but all of that is too good for people that commit these crimes i would say slow and tedious torture to an extent unimagineable til there death 4 yrs of torture later

I'm all for manually inserting bullets...one at a time. Or...kill them, resuscitate and kill them again....at least four times!

hey i've had that done to me!!!! but ya the deserve it or even better a gigantic vat of sulfuric acid dip them in peel off a layer of skin and like the pert plus bottle say rinse and repeat untill all there skin is gone then dip them once more to seal the deal

A lone Seattle Police Officer investigating a possible stolen vehicle encountered Maurice Clemons this morning at 2:45am. Maurice was the suspect in the killing of the four Lakewood Police Officers and had been on the run since Sunday. The Seattle PD Officer recognized Maurice and ordered him to the ground. Maurice elected to engage the officer and disregard three orders to ceases his aggressive actions, and was shot and killed.

Maurice was gut shot by one of the Lakewood Officers on Sunday and was living on borrowed time.

Police are now arresting everyone who assisted Maurice with his crime and alluding police since Sunday. Most of those who will be arrested are family members....WTF!

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Maurice will now be judged and convicted with no possibility of parole or clemency....
