and yea i got a huge network... i got a dlink 4 port switch, and 2 linksys 8 port routers
the reason i have 2 routers is because when the first broke i didnt want to wait for warrenty so i bought another and now i use the one that i got back from warrenty as a switch during lan parties and a couple of my systems have dual network cards, and i use 1 for vip and the other for rip

I have a Netgear wireless router.....vaulted ceilings make routing anything new a challenge, so my laptop and my computer in the living room are wireless, while the one in my bedroom is hardwired in.

i have vaulted cielings too. but i dont run my wires between the main floor and basement or through the walls in the basement making it easy to wire everything... i also use hard copper cable to route a path through the wall, then i tape a piece of string to the end, about twice as long as the distance through the wall, then i tie it off on both ends and tape any wires to it to go through the wall and pull it though 1 wire at a time.
