Default Holy crap my dad is retarded

So last night he told the he is taking my 98 to get the tire re-balanced. So I tell him to make sure he get the weights put on the inside of the wheel. Then he has a huge fit telling me how he knows he has to do that and yells at me for 15 minutes because I calmly told him to get the wieghts put on the inside.

Now today he took it well I was at school. I come home and the ****ING WIEGHTS ARE ONE THE OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! He gets all pissed off when I ask him why they are on the outside.

And he says the wieghts dont make the finsh corrode. So now there go another set of wheels that will be screwed up because of the wieghts on the outside.

Why not take it back to the shop and have them move the weights to the inside of the wheels? It might cost you a little dough, but it'* better than having corroded wheels.

Is it possible for you to take the car back to where he got the job done and explain it to those "wheel balancing pros" how the job should/needs to be done? Good Luck!!!

Got the new tires today Got wieghts on the outside, they said when we bring it in for the rotation every 6,000 they will rebalance also for free so the wieghts will be moved around often. As long as the wheel doesn't corrrode it doesn't bother me. They said only putting them on the inside may make the tire wear unevenly.

agreed...my weights are in the inside...and they are balanced prefect...

it sounds like someone dosent know how to set up the balance maching....cause there is a different setting for inside weights or outside weights
