1 bid! $2,995. Should have gone for the week-long auction, might have got even more for it. :(

On that note, I'll say X2 on the Regal GS.

Yeah, the buyer knows about the rust...she knew that they were older pics. I talked to her on the phone and the rust isn't a huge deal since she mostly cared that it had low miles and was black. I should have set the buy it now price higher, but at the time, 2995 was high to me, since I checked the private party value and at best, this would be worth 2500. Oh well, done deal now.

I looked at the GTP again, test drove an 02 GP with the 3100. It was ok...but it had 86,000 miles, and that is high. I'm not sure if the engine will have problems any time soon. They said they'd sell it to me for $7800, which is a good price, but the high miles worries me.

I saw a loaded Intrigue with leather...for 11,900...that seems good. Only found a Regal LS (no GS) but that was actually under $9000 I believe.....I'm still looking. I drove around for quite a while tonight...saw a couple more GTPs and GP GTs. The woman is coming to pick up the car in 15 days, so that does give me some time.

Keep in mind I'm only getting an in-between car...until I can get what I want in a year or so. While it would be nice to get the GTP, I think thay may end up costing me too much...It is so nice though, and only 36,000 miles.....

If anyone is selling a decent reliable, Bonne, preferably SSEi, I may consider it.

Here'* what I'm considering (in-between car...so I'm not TOO picky, price is key factor):

1998 Grand Prix GT Coupe, 73,000 miles ..no price tag on car but blue book retail = $6800

2001 Intrigue GL, silver, 3.5L, leather, loaded, 47,000 miles, $10,990

2002 GP SE, 3100, 86,000 miles.. $7800 (slowly going down on the list...LOTS of imperfections on exterior)

2001 Red GTP... too much $ a month.. probably not

a couple more that I can't think of now....

There might be a 93 SSEi in Binghamton with 111k for $2000. I'll talk to my dad and see if it is still for sale. Looked like a nice car. White, just like mine.

You know, I was considering going down to Binghamton. I have until the 16th to get a car, so I should have time. If you can look into that Bonne let me know. I appreciate it! If I can find a GREAT reliable car for less than $5000 even, I'd be happy. The better the car at the lowest price would be nice. My total preferred budget looks like $9000 or less. I found some really nice Auroras on ebay too, a lot from $2500-6500.

I'll let me dad know. He knows some people and can look into some of them as well. If you can give me a price range and a list of possible cars and trim levels, i can see what he can find. I know there were some other cars that were pretty cheap. There was a 96 SSEi with 90k-ish on it for $4000, not sure if it is still for sale. let me know and I'll have him keep his eyes open.

Boy Pete, That was a fast sell. I think you need to get another Bonneville, ( a red one).
