My other interests are cooking and gardening.
My other hobby is O Gauge Railroading. Most of you may have heard of Lionel trains which are the size train I am talking about. There are manufactures other than Lionel making wonderful scale operating models. To give you some perspective of the cost for this hobby, a diesel engine runs from $300 to $700 each. Steam engines run from $500 to $1800 each. Rolling stock, other cars that an engine would pull run from $10 to $115 each.
Not a hobby for anyone that has sticker shock when buying toys. Although I just pieced together a train for a Christmas present from Santa to our son for $100. If you know where to look and what to buy the cost can be competitive with gaming and other hobbies the young at heart are into these days.

My bonneville happily accomodates all of my hobbies. In the summer, it'* not unusual that I have my Trek bike in my backseat (that'* right, it fits), my rollerblades, hockey gear, and a weedwhacker in the trunk (I'm a professional landscaper), and a dog in the passenger seat. If there'* not a dog in the passenger seat, it'* my fire gear cause I'm going to training. In the winter, i have a 75 lb tractor weight (RWD, remember?), a shovel, a 50lb bag of sand, road flares, skis, and, occasionally, a sled or toboggan.
Taking care of her is also a full-time "hobby" since she'* got the original paint and the perfect vinyl top...not to mention the darn near perfect hubcaps and cushy overstuffed velour seats.
Oh, and by the way, as of today, she'* got 70k original miles

Well, I do enjoy washing and waxing my beauty up. Other hobbies involving the car? It serves as a means of transporting my PC to and from LAN parties. I also enjoy taking it out for a spirited drive or just a cruise now and then.
