Hmmm, Argh!!!, HELP, Oh Crap, What the?
I used to edit the titles of threads that were named accordingly.
Lately, I can't keep up. It'* sad to say, but the offenders will learn soon enough when their threads aren't getting any attention because the title is irrelevant.

Tracy, Dopple.. while I appreciate a little humor...let'* not muddy up something that needs to be taken seriously.
The post titles lately are out of control and when between the number of mods, admins, gearheads and other postiions we can't say enough times how important the title can be for good ending results.

Post titles are a big issue. Always have been. Another big issue is people posting topics in the Mechanical sections (87-91, 92-99, 2k+, etc) that are not mechanical issues.
Not to mention the friendly chit-chat in For Sale and Wanted. <-----big issue here. BIG. When people want to sell something or buy something, have enough respect not to clutter their topic.

Thanks Boosty! You have no idea how badly I wanted to make some sort of comment about the subject text of posts of a technical nature. But having a grand total of, like, 13.67 posts (I'm a Pinto level member), I didn't feel it was my place to say anything.
Really makes it hard to wade through all the information when searching for something specific. If there'* a thread on, say, windshield wipers, having a subject of "F#####g BONNEVILLE!" doesn't help.
Maybe the admins ought to periodically post a reminder message in each of the technical forums. In the lounge, anything goes, but in the tech forums it sure would be nice if the subject (title) reflected the issue needing discussion.
Maybe a new admin position for "Subject ****" needs to be opened! lol

I agree.
I know I mess up every once in a while when im in the lounge or something.
But when in the mechanical section. I always post clearly.
Such as my last mechanical post...
89 LE - Transmission Question
People are always trying to search for things, and are most times obligated to ask again just because you can't even find it!
Hah, and Subject ****...now I think thats a good idea right there!
