Right on, man! Hopefully I'll be picking it up soon

WooHoo! Just picked up HL2 this afternoon. Haven't even had time to install it yet, but here'* the kicker!!!

I GOT IT FOR $34.99

I went in to BJ'* to pick up some other goodies and there on a rack right when you walk in was a HL2 display. 4 packages that were inline with each other were marked $34.99 and the rest were $49.99. I went to checkout and the lady rang it through and it came up as $49.99... I told her to look at the price tag. She had to give it to me at the $34.99 price, but she immediately went and grabbed the others off the shelf that were marked lower. No one there knew how they got mismarked, but this is the second time I have capitalized on our local BJ'*. The first was a DVD set for my wife that was supposed to be $124.99 and was marked $64.99. That was a big one, but I guess this store is always screwing up like that. Lucky me!

I'm going to be installing it once I get done beating NFS Underground 2. Should be fun!

I've been using Steam for the (original) Counter-Strike for a long while now... it works (it gets a bit annoying), needless complication, I say.

I got HL2/CS:Source, only played CS:* so far, meh. I'll keep playing old CS.
