Uhhh thanks, I think. It just was a little more interesting as a go with your girlfriends type thing. We had a guy in our group, and I so nearly wanted to go over and sit next to him.

MOS, I never saw the original, and I'm going to take a safe guess and say I never will. So maybe someone else can run the comparision for ya .

PJ you're more brave than me... holy crap I saw that preview and cringed. Chad just looked over at me, smiled and said we're seeing it. Won't happen... I'll have an accident while watching it! :(

My wife would probally do the same thing if I made her watch those movies. I could never make her watch that stuff with me, she couldn't even take the last Resident Evil movie. Hell, she gets creeped out just by watching shows with "normal" freaks like CSI and what not.

Haha, no I wasn't brave, I was nieve in this case. I actually only knew it was a horror movie...that'* it. Had I seen any of the previews, I'm sure I would have opted out.

Without looking it up, I couldn't tell you who the bald dude was played by. The one thing I have read about this movie and the original is the original had more character development as far as the genetically mutated family went. In this one you have little sense of who they are, if they can really talk all that much or that they are even related.

I saw it last night. I found it a bit too cheesy to be really scary, bad acting too.

I think it'* hilarious when people talk about "bad acting" in an all out slaher type horror movie. That'* what you go see 'em for, the cool special effects, to see if they can actually scare you, and the bad acting!

Yeah I know what you are saying, but it really takes away from the overaal level of "scary" when some B-actor dishes out some painful one-liner.
