I was ordered this week by my Girlfriend to CLEAN out my pool shed ... From it i received 111.30 in empty beer bottles and 116.00 in crushed cans.... Now just so you Know i have only lived here for 18 months. Do the math


I had to go and get a truck from the shop

My problem I do not like returning empties.

I hate the returning part as well, the drinking part I dont mind at all


Bottles suck to return but if I have my choice I do not want cans.

Wait, you get paid for bottles? We recycle them or chunk em, no payment for bottles.

We get .10 cents a bottle and .15 cents a can.

I didn't know you could make money from them. I'm saving all my cans and newspapers now and the occasional bottle

nickle a piece. but we dont just get paid for them we have to pay that nickle when we purchase something.

not sure how it is in every state.. but i know on the alum can if you take the top thingie off.. save them and fill up a gallon milk jug its worth like 200$ cause thats the only part of the can made with all virgin aluminum.. the rest of the can is a tin/ alum mixture.. but its somethin to check into if you get into all the saving of cans to recycle them..
