Saw the Canadian Tire commercial last night for the first time on our Shaw Direct satellite of the truck encased in block ice. Cool commercial, but didn't under the relevance. The engine was not frozen, so what was the big deal getting a engine to turn over just because the outside of the cab is encased in ice blocks. I hope Don Cherry calls out Canadian Tire for this.

I was home for the weekend, and flew back to Phoenix late yesterday afternoon. The Chicago airport looked deserted. Almost all flights cancelled. My flight actually left on time. Never saw the airport so empty. Wife and I got into stress on way to airport- she doesn't like to drive in the snow. Very grateful for the 99 Bravada. Very under-appreciated SUV. AWD for my Wife is great, full frame, after working out the known issues- it has been near flawless. Parks easy in the garage, not over bearing size wise- heated seats get toasty fast. Wish the gas mileafge was better. But overall- thrilled to have my wife driving it. Today'* high in Illinois is -4 (Fahrenheit for our canuck brothers).

Picture take in back yard yesterday morning.
