He i ended up blowing my head gasket and sold the car for like 400 bucks lol..My dumb *** let mmy all fiberglass Z28 hood go with it...Hood was worth more than what i sold the car for lol

Thats how it goes for any car LOL hey while i got ya here...Do yall know if ill need the wiring harness and computer for the 3.1 or will all my 2.8 stuff work fine?

i dont know i didnt do that i whet 2.8-2.8-305-355. but if i had to guess i would say if you got one from a late 80'* car you would only need the pcm. if i remember right the 88 had 2.8 and 89 started 3.1? if you got a 89 90 seems like they woudnt change much. could be wrong. after that they started getting into vats and stuff not to sure how that would be either.

Yeah the motor and what not is from a 91 but my buddy said ican take it all with me regardless so im set..I do know there is a chip thing inside the ECM that i need to switch over

i wouldnt think that you would have to switch anything unless you are talking about putting the 91 chip in your pcm. which may be all you have to do. i know if you wanted to change fuel or ign settings back then you would have to have your chip flashed.

Well when i bought a new ECM for my 87 i had to put my chip in it due to being vin specfic so yeah i guess i would need the one from gregs car

thats where it starts to be a pain. and thats why i got a carbed 305/700 for like 500 bucks. just get a 70'* sbc hei and mod the 700 slightly, different rad. very easy swap. and you dont have to worry about pcm or sensors going bad any more

then i gotta do v8 springs and a bigger fuel pump to.....I just dd all that in my dads 86 Z28 went from an 86 305 to a 69 327 ect ect lol
