Your posts here inferring what your actions 'might be' could be used against you if this ends up in a criminal or civil court case. I suggest in the future you keep your issues like this off the Forum.

Post your own camera up to monitor things. This way if things do happen you will have proof and he can be jailed. It might suck, but until he is caught there isn't really much you can do. As stated before, check your local laws.

i have full coverage on my car and my car audio is insured as well upto $5000..

my house also has full coverage and the good thing about it is that my car insurance company is my home insurance company ( allstate ) and they are pretty good..

i love this area.. the neighbors are friendly and the area is not really that bad but the crooks and thief''* tend to come over here and do there crime because they dont live here and they no its a nice enough area that there is not many police especially in the night time...

It sounds like you are complaining about getting attention.

To a thief, the more you show the more you owe.
Interpreted to mean that if no one knows you have nice stuff, they won't want to steal your nice stuff. And if you go around showing off your system, you are just making yourself a bigger target for thieves. Practice safe sound, don't brag to people you don't know and trust and you will increase your safety factor.

You can get decent cameras now for fairly cheap, and they're small enough you can conceal them around your property very easily.

You should ideally have two covering the big garage doors, one form either side, and one on any other door, facing out towrads anyone coming in. You can hide them in the eaves of the garage pretty easy. You could also skip those and just get one low-light camera and an infrared floodlight for inside the garage. You can easily set it up so that they record onto your PC.

BTW, if you know the guy'* name, file a restraining order against him. 300 feet should be enough that you can call the cops on him for coming down your street again...

i woke up this morning to take my daughter to school and i found a pile of broken glass in my car and all over the ground.. this mother f'er stole my mp3 player , my gps mount and power cord only ( the main part i take out every day ) they also took my code scanner for my 88 sse and some parts.. a maf, my extra ecm and some other stuff i cant even remeber right now as im so upset.. i have pics but i will upload them later when im not so upset as i am now.. last night i went to sleep at 2:30 am and woke up at 7 am so this happened between then..

i knew he was going to try something because he passed by my house more then 5 times in the last week after me not seeing him at all for the last 5 -6 months.... its just too much of a coincedence that this happened.. now i bet i wont see him for another couple of months...

this just sucks... i only have liabilaity coverage on the 88 so now i have to come out of pocket and pay for it....

i am so angry that i actually thought about junking the car... its just too many problems with it mechanically right now ( all minor ) and now this...? i am going to go crazy... i never asked for this.. i never stole someone'* car or even broke into one...

this juts really gets me to that point where i just feel like giving up and just leaving all my doors and windows open with a big sign that says FREE FOR THE TAKING COME N GET IT .


and calling the cops wont do anything just like it did nothing the first time he broke into my car as all i was told was that i can fill out a report and thats it because nobody was caught and there is no physical evidence...

That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I would really consider moving if I were you.

And also you said previously that you have a garage that has full security. Why wasn't your car parked in there?

If it were me and this guy kept coming around, I would have taken everything out of my car that way there was nothing to steal. JMO.....
