The new Hemi is a hemi in name only. The actual configuration of the chamber is a twisted wedge, not anything even like a hemisphere. It'* a marketing thing, Mopar wanted to connect their heritage with their modern products. Unfortunately, every Mopar commercial that features older Mopar products is either mocking them (The goobers in the Duster in the truck commercials) or crashed/blown up (The Acclaim in the Nitro commercial).
