hi bill! don't worry about john...you're still my friend...and we can beat him up by the flag pole after kindergarten gets out.
really though, I-tunes is quite impressive. i am not at all a mac fan, but this software is really nice...other than that, did you check with your system admin to make sure he doesn't have group policies enabled on the new server? that will defintely kill your ability to do alot of things...including turning off or on windows firewall. ask your admin...maybe they are starting to enable group policies.

1.17 How do I get to the menu bar in Windows Media Player 10?
The menu bar is hidden by default in Windows Media Player 10. You can access the menus or show the menu bar by clicking the Access application menus button in the upper-right corner of the Player.

1.21 Where did the Features taskbar buttons, such as Now Playing and Library, go?
The Features taskbar contains buttons that link to the key Player features, such as Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn, Sync, and Guide. In Windows Media Player 10, the taskbar appears at the top of the Player. You can hide or show the taskbar by doing the following:
In Windows Media Player 10, right-click the title bar, point to View, point to Menu Bar Options, and then click Hide Taskbar.
When a check mark appears beside the Hide Taskbar command, the taskbar is hidden. When a check mark does not appear beside the Hide Taskbar command, the taskbar is displayed.
