Good Outline Jwak, I would add being aware of your surroundings at all times and definately not to put your body or appendages at risk at any time the car is off the ground. A real jack and pics of some common jack locations would help. To bad He wont let You use video or Powerpoint....... This compilation of three Goodyear commercials always get a chuckle out of me.

good safety tip on the not losing appendages. ill tell them it really might cost an arm and a leg if they arent careful.

field trip i think is out. and i dont think its really a great idea to carry the jack around to my classes for a 5 minute speech. if it were longer, i might.

i should clarify. the first image wil be something to the effect of me saying [very loudly, because yelling makes me feel important], "THIS IS MY CAR. SHES BEAUTIFUL. but she needs help sometimes. like the other day, i hit a pothole and dented the rim, which means that i needed to fix the tire. without air in the tire, while it might make my car look cooler by running lower to the ground, it does God knows what to the car itself. so i had to change the tire."

or something to that effect. the first picture is supposed to grab their attention. the second will be just to show where to jack it up at.

Quicky opinion. If you are going to use that second picture as demonstrating where jack points are, I wouldn't suggest it. The part of the car you are focusing on, is far too dark. I think it draws away from the focus.

If I were you, I would photoshop a pic of the sissor jack collapsed with your leg hanging out from under the car....

I have to take speech next semester, after I take a speech, history and a religious course, I will be done with all my general core classes. But my friends tell me that they have similar subjects like the one your doing. Good luck

Good outline

Might I suggest throwing some points on jackstands and perhaps a torque wrench as tools you may use if this is a planned action (as compared to a flat tire).

And bring candy. Candy always works in a pinch.

It might even help to take in a model or toy car to show the frame / strongest points to jack by.
