well so far i got it up on jack stand, have the wheels pulled, fabbed up an engine lift to hold it and took off the motor mount. i have found that a lot of the bolts are 18mm, which i dont have.. so im gonna be going down to autozone to rent a bunch of stuff and find something to get the hubs off

i planned on doing this alone, but i just got an offer from travis that he might be able to come down and help

ill keep ya updated

I'm with the group...sounds like you murdered the flywheel//flexplate where it bolts to the crank.

UPDATE

I showed up around 11:20pm tonight after work, they had the tranny and engine seperated and the new flywheel on, getting into put-back-together mode.

The Flywheel broke, basically sheered off in a circle around the mount to the crank. We've got the new one on, but didn't mark/line up the holes with the Torque converter, so we can't get them together tonight. Travis was whooped, so we called it a night around 1am.

Strangely they were sober when I showed up, and there weren't tons of beer bottles around the garage. I guess they were really focusing..

Just talked to Andrew briefly, they got the tranny on right this time. Turns out they didn't quite have it seated all the way. That thing goes into the bell pretty deep. Now he just has to get the suspension back together...
