Thanks for your help. I bought the 30 gb iPod last night on the Apple website and had it engraved. Birthday gift for my wife. Downloaded the iTunes software this morning and will start to get the music ready to go into the iPod ahead of time.

Got an e-mail this morning saying it was shipped. Man that is fast service.

Good luck with that iTunes software. I know a lot more people use it successfully than don't, but the ones who had problems had lot'* of them.

I ran it for a while, and the only real complaint I had was that it wants to "own" every media type out there (greedy bastard!!)

But it was nice for playing videos without having to hunt down the codecs for WMP
