Jack, the Razr is deemed one of the most durable phones on the market by aftermarket reviews such as cNet.
Mos, It'* not really huge. It'* a little wider and a little taller than traditional, but it'* THIN. Like a half inch. 3.9 x 2.1 x 0.5 in

uncle bill,
hate to rain on the parade...but i have had nothing but nightmares with my razr. you might not run into these...but here'* the growing list:
1. slow and quirky interface.
2. missed calls list dumps missed and called calls into the same list. hello? which is which? duh!
3. Phone fried SIM card. Had to pay $52 for replacement.
4. Signal/voice clarity has been slowly diminishing. Now, no one can hear me on the other end. Phone is being sent back and replaced under warranty right now.
5. Entire address book cleaned out while i was sleeping. phone was on charger...and woke up the next morning and addy was completely empty.
6. Bad news all the way. I am getting a nokia and selling my replaced razr.

Hmm....maybe a lemon? I'm seeing rave reviews from most people. They're sending me a spare SIM card, my V551 still works perfectly for a backup, and I have a warranty and insurance on the phone.
Who'* your provider? Sounds like some of your problems are system-based.
