This problem is not on my Bonny, but I was hoping someone might have an idea on its cause... the driver'* door on my '96 Dodge Avenger (currently for sale) is VERY hard to open. It acts like it'* extremely HEAVY, and has gotten worse lately. There'* nothing obvious stuck in either of the two hinges, and I've tried a silicone lube with no luck. Any ideas on how to loosen that baby up? TIA -
Just loosening and re-tightenig the hinge-bolts might take care of this.
Forget silicone though, the best thing for hinges is graphite.
BTW my brother has a '96 Avenger, what trim package is your'*, and have you done any mods?
