My Mom and Dad are that way....they have the same conversations over everything at least three times with as many 'huh' and 'what'. They are so used to saying 'huh and what' that they just do it automatically. Drive me up a friggin wall!

Kevin, put yourself in their shoes. I for one can vouch for them. It'* not fun being in a room with 7 people talking at once and you can't understand the person sitting 2 feet in front of you. If its a female voice, I have to read lips to understand them.
