Well it was raining so I just popped the hood and confirmed 'QUAD OHC' stamped on top of the cover plate. Does this mean its a single Ohc? and is there an better head gasket for it now?

It didn't say QUAD DOHC?

Unless someone swapped an engine into it before..

But its a quad to say the least... That will be no fun to work on
I checked twice, it definitely says quad ohc
Its doubtful I'll be doing much, if any, of the work at this point.

OT at work is going to start pouring in at the end of the month when we loose two people...

Oh no. Quad OHC (SOHC) = Head crackers. SOHC Quads are known for cracking the heads, especially between the valves.

Final Update.

The daughters boyrfiend stopped to ask me, while I was picking up all the grandkids for the weekend, Friday If I would do the head gaskets on the GA.

Me - I thought you paid someone to do them???
BF - He said they didn't need doing, they were fiine.
Me - whats it doing now?
BF - Leaking antifreeze into the oil.
Me - How sure are you its going into the oil?
BF - the oil looks like chocolate milk and its way up on the dipstick.
Me - Did you drain the Antifreeze and oil?
Bf - no, should I?
Me - How long has it been sitting like this.
BF - since last weekend.
Me - ...there no point in doing the head gasket now.

And then I explained the affects of oil & antifreeze mixing on bearings.

I swear I told him all that last time he asked.
