Default HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE?

Has this ever happened to anyone else here? In the whole 14+ months I've been on BC, this has never happened. I was just reading the posts like normal, and when I hit "Reply" to a post, this message came up on a white screen:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

WTF is that? After that anything I pressed ("bonnevilleclub forum index" etc) would bring up this screen. I deleted the cookies and it'* fine now, but that was screwy. I've had some other bugs before but that was a first.

I get different kinds of warnings...usually caused by the firewall at my office....but never a Critical Error message

I've received phpBB Critical Errors on other boards I've been to, but they only lasted about a week, then mysteriously disappeared. I got pages to work by refereshing the error message pages once or twice.

Probably a server error. I'm betting the phpBB software is trying to respond to your request, and the server isn't finding the database quick enough. Keep the notes going here. We'll see if this settles out.
