Quick True Story!
Back in 1993 my girlfriend, current wife, took a combination Alaska cruise and land tour. On July 1st while on the bus was one Canadian and he started to sing Oh Canada. I immediately joined in to add a little harmony. Upon finishing my wife asks me how I knew the words to Oh Canada to which I replied "12 years as a Washington Capitals season ticket holder". I received a dumb look and told her that when a Canadian team comes into town the Canada National Anthem is played. My bud and I early into our season ticket purchase learned the words to Oh Canada and started to sing along when the anthem was played. We always received strange looks from the persons around us in the stands. Lots of fun and beat just standing around with our thumb up our butt.
