Happy Birthday, beer buddy!
As a birthday gift to you (since I had the compressor running anyway), I aired up your flat slicks for you.
I got a wee bit fuddled on the math between all that kpa and psi crap on the tire.
Is 148psi right? They're groaning, but holding for now.

I have an update on him. He reached his destination in just under 9 hours, and he made it with ONE tank of gas!!!
474.1 miles or in our language 763.0 KM, he said he took his time, didn't speed, because the police were out in force today, and the car ran great. For all you math geniuses, that is about 30 miles to the gallon :?: I think, or was that km to the litre...........I am not sure, PDad told me what it was, but hey, I work in a school, I am not supposed to know these things

18 US gallons or 68 liters so assuming he still had a couple liters left when he filled up say 66 liters per 763 kms....or 8.7 l/100kms
In American thats 474 miles per 17.5 gallons .....or 27 mpg
Very good mileage. I've never gotten better than 26 mpg pussyfooting on the highway.

A belated thank you to all, much appreciated
To correct pmoms figures it was 800kms (500miles) when I filled up and it took 68 litres even at $1.359litre for a total of $92.50, 91 octane. That works out to 33mpg cdn or 29mpg us.
I made this same trip at the end of spring break to pick up Jessica and it took 3 tanks there and back.
I set the aeroforce gage to engine load and timing, then watched the boost gage and traffic flow. Kept everything in balance as I averaged about 65mph, only passed when it was easy.
Interview went well too
They put me up at golf resort on the lake, $150 a round.....sorry forgot my clubs nice hotel.
Love the area, green grass and fruit tree'*. and only 5 hours to Vancouver.
