Skype has not even been out for 3 years....
The skype service started in august of 2003 to beta testers.........it was put out for the first real version in 2004 I believe.
Ok so Skype wasn't around 10 years ago. VoIP definitely was. I don't know the name of it from back then but I'm certain that currently its Skype and has been for at leat 3 year

We used to get those VOIP calls all the time at my old job. They'd be calling from somewhere overseas for free. Talk about horrible quality...
And then, of course, they'd get mad because we had a hard time understanding them...
